Description
The Municipality of Gavi has requested the construction of an inclined lift that connects the village of Gavi to its Fort. The project involves the construction of an initial station next to a parking area that will be enlarged (approximately 200 seats) and built on a multi-storey basis. It is assumed that by making the path to the Fort accessible, even for disabled people, there will be a large increase in visitors, making it necessary to build the parking area as well as the connection. Currently the Fort can be reached in 2 ways:
1) Through a road on the right of the Fort which gives the possibility to park about twenty people.
2) Through a very long pedestrian path that climbs up the hill, making it difficult for all elderly people or people with disabilities. In addition, the project involves the construction, inside the Fort, of two or more vertical connections that connect the different areas of the Fort located on different levels.
